These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lexgit, an AI maturity assessment platform ("Platform"), operated by Synctronic Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16815380) ("we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using Lexgit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Lexgit on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and references to "you" in these Terms shall refer to that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not proceed with the assessment.
Lexgit provides a structured AI maturity assessment tool that generates reports and strategic recommendations based on user-submitted inputs ("Assessment Outputs").
Important: Lexgit is an informational and analytical tool only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice, legal services, or a lawyer-client relationship. Assessment Outputs are for general purposes and do not replace professional legal or technical counsel.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal age in your country, and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use Lexgit. The Platform is intended for professional and business use. By using this platform, you confirm you meet these requirements.
Lexgit is currently accessible without registration or the creation of a user account. You can do an assessment anonymously.
We may introduce account-based access in the future. If we do, these Terms will be updated accordingly and renewed acceptance will be required. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or permanently block access to the Platform — including access from specific devices, networks, or locations — without prior notice.
Lexgit is currently available free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers or premium features in the future.
You may use Lexgit solely for evaluating the internal AI maturity of your own company or the specific legal entity you represent.
You are strictly prohibited from using the Platform, its methodology, or its Assessment Outputs to perform assessments for, or provide consulting services to, external third parties or clients. If you are a professional advisor or consultant, you must obtain our prior written consent or a specific commercial license before using Lexgit for client work.
You must not, and must not allow any third party to:
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, terminate, or otherwise limit access to the Platform, in whole or in part, at any time where we reasonably determine that such action is necessary to:
Such actions may include blocking or limiting access from particular accounts, devices, IP addresses, networks, technologies, geographic locations, or jurisdictions. We may take such action immediately and without prior notice where circumstances reasonably require.
All content, methodology, branding, structure, scoring logic, report formats, and visual design of Lexgit are the exclusive property of Synctronic Ltd or its licensors.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Your acceptance of these Terms grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Lexgit for the purposes set out in the Permitted Use section.
Assessment Outputs generated for you may be used internally within your organisation. You may not publish, commercialise, or distribute them externally without our written consent.
By submitting inputs ("User Inputs"), you grant Synctronic Ltd a permission to process and use that data for its purposes. We may use anonymised, aggregated data derived from usage patterns to improve the Platform, provide analysis and reports, develop new features or any other legitimate business activities. As the assessments are done anonymously, this data will never identify you or your organisation.
You acknowledge that Assessment Outputs are generated using a combination of proprietary rule-based logic and artificial intelligence models. Because of this hybrid approach, the Platform may produce similar or identical responses, reports, or recommendations for different users who submit similar inputs. This does not constitute a breach of confidentiality.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties—express or implied—regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any Assessment Output. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure; that Assessment Outputs will be accurate, current, or applicable to your specific circumstances; or that the Platform will meet your particular business requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synctronic Ltd's maximum aggregate liability to you shall be zero—whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise—arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. This applies regardless of the number of claims, the nature of the loss, or whether Synctronic Ltd was advised of the possibility of such loss.
We shall not be liable under any circumstances for:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Synctronic Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:
We may update the Platform, its features, or these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g. by email or in-platform notification). Where required, we will prompt you to re-accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the assessment.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms — or your renewed acceptance via the checkbox — constitutes acceptance of those changes.
We reserve the right to assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, including any associated intellectual property and user data, to an acquiring entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our assets.
The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services (including AI model providers). We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 120 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
For users in jurisdictions with mandatory local consumer protection laws, nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under local law.
